Chennai 600028, a superhit flick based on Cricket remains as one of the favourite sports comedy flicks in the recent time for many. Such was the impact this film had managed to create back in 2007. Now, the Mankatha director is back with his own set of gang, to do what he does best.
According to a report from Times of India, Chennai 600028 will have its sequel in the near future and Venkat Prabhu will helm the project with the same cast from the prequel.
"Venkat recently narrated the story to the boys. The team is kicked about the sequel's storyline and so, we will see them in the lead roles once again. Venkat will start shooting from next month," a source has revealed.
"After working with top stars like Ajith, Suriya and Karthi in his last three films, he is back with the gang of boys he is comfortable working with. While the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be decided, Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board for the music," the source has added. Stay tuned for further updates

Siddharth looks quite different in his upcoming movie with a colored hair stle and cowboy like appearance. The teaser looks very interesting with the dialouges and screen appearance. The movie is directed by Dheeraj Vaidy and produced by Siddharth. Music for the film is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna. Apart from Siddharth, the film stars Avinash Raghudevan, Sananth Reddy, Nassar, Radha Ravi and RJ Balaji.
The story of Jil Jung Juk is a dark comedy, where the story revolves around the three important characters played by Siddharth as a Jil, Avinash Raghudevan as Jung and Sananth Reddy as a Juk. We needed to shoot silently, conserving all the energy within,” he says.
